This was taken the only time I have been a bridesmaid. September 1973 and the woman who lived in our house married a sailor. Although she had lots of nieces, as shown in the photo, she took pity on me being an only child and asked me to be chief bridesmaid. The little pageboy was painfully shy and once he got to know me he wouldn't leave me. It was so comical because he didn't want to sit with his parents for the reception or even to go home with them!
I really like this photo of me because I look so pretty!
