My favourite grandfather, mum's dad, in the backyard of his house. I am 18 months old and cute! I loved that house so much, with its outside loo and ensuite wash-house. Stone floors, high ceilings and wooden shutters on the windows all added up to adventure for a child. Just to the right of this picture there was a window ledge that I grew an orange tree on, it caught full sun and I think even granddad was surprised when it grew baby oranges.
