There is no excuse for the bad condition of these pictures but one reason might be the film I used. It was my first attempt at a special, and expensive new Kodak film, and I thought the professional photographer was just being snide when he tut-tutted at it. When these were devolped two days later I was so upset. When we saw the professional photos I was less upset because they too weren't very good. In fact they were so poor that we didn't purchase any. It's a shame really because Jennifer is the first in our family to use a proper photograper and she has no long lasting photos to cherish now, it isn't something you can just go back and reshoot!
